Services
Accounts Results Plus offers a full bookkeeping and accounts service.
Our experienced staff are ready to help you with:
BAS and GST
On a periodic basis we come to your premises and prepare your accounts using an accounting package. Before we arrive we give you a list of items of information to have ready for when we come in. The work we do can either be on site or off site depending on your preference.
Payroll
This can be a relatively basic task however the need for perfect accuracy is more pronounced. If you need to pay a number of staff each week (for example, 10-50 people) we can set up a system with you where you send us timesheets in Excel and we send you a file back for processing. You would then upload the file to your bank and then authorise it.
We usually recommend sending the information in Excel as we use this to create a timesheet and import it into the accounting file - this almost completely eliminates the likelihood of errors.
Budgeting
Even though you probably have an idea whether the cost is "within your budget" so to speak, it can be useful to be able to compare your outlays at a glance. In reality, this very useful tool only becomes effective when the business reaches a certain size and / or level of complexity.
However you might still find it helpful to set a series of "conservative estimates" that you want to refer to from time to time. ARP would work with you to establish these estimates and then generate regular reports that you could compare to actual figures.
Cash Flow Management
Again, you probably have an idea what your cash needs are and what they are likely to be however it often gets to a point where "it all gets too much" and you need to know what bills to pay and when. We would then set up a spreadsheet that presented this information in an easy to understand format.
Break Even Analysis
Also a more sophisticated analysis tool, this is used more frequently than the above two service categories. What we would do is determine what costs are fixed (e.g., rent) and which are variable (e.g., electricity) and then work out expected profit outcomes for various levels of sales.
A Break Even Analysis is usually done as a one off exercise that might only take half an hour, however it might need to be amended should there be a change in any fixed or variable costs.
